Children in Year 5 have been super busy designing, sewing, glueing and evaluating our Tudor purses!

Our challenge was that King Henry VIII needed a new Tudor purse. We had to firstly investigate regal Tudor colours and explore existing Tudor purse designs. We then designed our own Tudor purse fit for a king. After that, we practised the blanket stitch and the running stitch. We then set to work creating our purses ready to present to the King! After our fantastic creations were finished, we spent time evaluating our masterpieces and test if they were fit for purpose.
